Maya Penn

Maya Penn is an award-winning climate solutionist, advisor, director, filmmaker, artist, and author of ECO REVOLUTION. She is the founder and CEO of Upenndo! Productions: an impact storytelling organization collaborating with the likes of Viola Davis and Whoopi Goldberg and creating climate storytelling jobs for young artists in 12 countries around the world on the front lines. Maya has given lectures at universities such as Harvard, and she’s given 3 TEDTalks, translated into 40 languages and used as curriculum in schools. She’s featured in the UN Food and Agriculture Organization Museum in Rome which was launched in celebration with Pope Leo XIV, and New Jersey’s Fossil Park and Museum of Rowan University. Maya received a commendation from President Obama at 16 years old for outstanding achievement in environmental stewardship. She was also awarded the Coretta Scott King A.N.G.E.L. Award at 16 years old, by Dr. Bernice King, the daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
